Radio Taiso 64
A downloadable game
Radio Taiso 64 brings Japan's radio calisthenics, Radio Taiso No.1 and No.2, to the Commodore 64. A stick-figure coach leads you through all thirteen movements of each routine, in time with original music for the SID chip. Three minutes, once a day, for a retro flashback alternative to Jazzercise.
Pick a routine, and play by following along and exercising/stretching.
• Two routines, 13 movements each
• Original music, "Asa no March" (No.1) and "Hikari no March" (No.2), arranged for the SID's three voices
• Counts in Japanese (kana and romaji) and English, movement names in both languages, beat display, set counter and progress dots
• Five tempos, 80 % to 120 %
• Opened top and bottom borders: a seamless cue scroller in the bottom border (PAL) and the ラジオ体操 logo in the top border
• PAL and NTSC, detected at start-up; joystick or keyboard
